character portraits

at one point i was like, man, you know what i really want to do? paint some FRIGGEN CHARACTER PORTRAITS

so i did, and it somehow turned out INFINITELY BETTER than all of the other times i've tried this sort of thing. so i did it several more times. a couple i tried were more miss than hit, so those never got uploaded anywhere. but these ones were all good! they're all roughly in the order i did them
